The Nintendo Switch 2 has been here for a few months now, and it’s starting to get easier to get your hands on one - just in time for Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
Not only is the console readily available right now, but Amazon’s latest spate of Prime Day Big Deals has savings on games and accessories for the console. Here are some of the best we’ve seen so far.
The Best Switch 2 Deals This Prime Day
Nintendo has moved from microSD cards to the faster (but pricier) Express versions, but you can save 15% on this Lexar 1TB model that’s ideal for the new console. It’s still $186.88, but that's better than the $219.99 MSRP.
Elsewhere, you can grab a new carry case, with plenty of room for spare Joy-Con controllers and a host of physical games for just $19.92 (that’s over 40% off), as well as a pack of two Switch 2 screen protectors for $7.49.
Games-wise, there’s plenty to choose from, including backwards-compatible Switch 1 titles and games made for Switch 2.
New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe has a third off the MSRP, bringing it down to $39.99, while Ubisoft’s pair of underrated Mushroom Kingdom strategy adventures, Mario + Rabbids, get a Dual Pack exclusive to Amazon for $24.99. Kingdom Battle and Sparks of Hope are fantastic strategy titles, so this is an easy recommendation.
Sticking with packs including multiple games, Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered are just under 20 bucks with a 33% discount, while the Final Fantasy 1 to 6 Anniversary Edition Collection is down to $44.99.
The biggest hitter for Switch 2 is undeniably Split Fiction, a co-op adventure that’s well worth a look for anyone looking to play with a friend or loved one. It’s down to $39.99, and includes the Friend Pass so you can enjoy it with someone else.
Our reviewer Luke Reilly awarded it 9/10 earlier this year, saying “An expertly crafted co-op adventure that pinballs from one genre extreme to another, Split Fiction is a rollercoaster of constantly refreshed gameplay ideas and styles – and one that’s very hard to walk away from.”
