Popular TikToker Kaelin Bradshaw has died after battling a rare form of cancer, which she had documented on social media.
A number of social media stars have been born out of documenting their challenging health battles. That included Kaelin Bradshaw. The 29-year-old, who had over 100,000 followers on TikTok, regularly shared updates on her battle with a rare form of cancer in her bile duct.
Bradshaw died on October 27, with her husband, Austin, sharing the news to her followers. “From the moment Kaelin was diagnosed, she was devastated, but also determined,” he said. “She promised me and our family she was going to fight and never give up.
“She fulfilled her promise, but unfortunately, her disease progressed beyond her body’s ability to keep fighting. Our beautiful girl passed on October 27 at 1:27 am, holding my hand. She was not in pain, and her room was surrounded by the love and compassion of our entire family.”
Kaelin Bradshaw’s husband pays tribute to wife
Kaelin’s husband thanks fans for their support throughout his wife’s battle with the rare cancer, including a number of fellow creators who are also documenting similar struggles.
“She has shown me what true strength and beauty is from the moment I set eyes on her, and I am glad she has shared the same with all of you,” Austin added in the video that has gotten over 1.5 million views.
“She told me early on that she was scared and angry when she got diagnosed but grateful that she was given the opportunity to fight for her life as she thought about all the kids whose lives were taken in an instant and given no chance to fight. She said she would fight for them, and she did.”
Kaelin’s last update came on October 26, where she told fans that she still didn’t qualify for chemotherapy, was in the process of moving hospice, and had finally started a GoFundMe to help her husband.
“We’re also hoping to take a trip together as soon as I get the green light to start my next treatment, and we’d love to be financially ready when that time comes,” she said in the video caption.

“I haven’t stoped crying. I’m so so sad,” one said. “Kae was an absolute light to our community and to so many others. We are deeply sorry for your loss,” another added. “Kae was an amazing light. I’m so sorry,” another commented.
