Adin Ross believes Kick is “lacking” right now as he is planning to take “big streams” to Twitch instead, and is promising not to run adverts.
When Adin Ross’ long-standing Twitch ban was lifted on March 30, the popular streamer promised that he would be active again on the Amazon-owned platform. However, he has only gone live twice since being unbanned and wants to be “very careful” with his content.
For the most part, Adin has stuck to Kick, doing his regular gambling streams on there, while collaborating with other streamers too. He’s also had Drake join him on the Stake-backed platform.
However, he believes the platform that he co-owns is “lacking” and will make a return to Twitch for his “big streams” in the near future. On top of that, he’s promising to unban fans and not run adverts on his streams.
Adin Ross promises to do “big streams” on Twitch again
“Hey guys, I’ll be streaming on Twitch for the 6ix9ine stream, and the Carti stream. No point of doing big streams on KICK,” he said on November 11.
“At least on Twitch, I will gain followers and mainstream growth. I promise I won’t run ads, just doing Twitch for discoverability since kick is lacking rn.”
Some fans claimed that this is something that Adin says “all the time,” but he claims he will follow through. “I am. Will still do kick for game nights, regular desktops, gambling, and streams that make sense on kick,” he replied.
Others suggested that it is part of a renegotiation with Kick and Stake for a better deal, but Ross also denied that.
“Na they not budging lol, I’m not on stake so I don’t really get a say… Twitch it is,” the streamer added.
Adin’s last big collab stream on Kick was with UFC star Khabib Nurmagomedov, but a date for the 6ix9ine link-up has not been finalized.
