A day after a news broke of a class action lawsuit was filed against Stake.us, Adin Ross, and Drake, Ross has responded to the allegations, calling them “f**king bullsh*t,” while fellow Kick creator xQc believes that the case is unlikely to succeed.

The lawsuit, filed in Jackson County Circuit Court on October 27, accuses Stake.us, rapper Drake, and Ross of promoting what it describes as an illegal online casino to US audiences through Kick. Named plaintiff Justin Killham claims he lost money gambling on Stake’s platform due to what he calls “deceptive” practices.

The complaint argues that Ross and Drake misled viewers by presenting their Kick gambling streams as personal wagers when the money allegedly came directly from Stake. It also claims that Stake operated Stake.us to bypass state-level gambling restrictions.

Ross dismissed the accusations in a short response on stream, saying, “Read through the case yourself. It’s f**king bullsh*t.”

xQc, who also streams on Kick, weighed in on X, writing: “This lawsuit will go nowhere lmfao, this is just pandering to the public perception.” He continued: “Drake’s money is his to keep as well, if it wasn’t, Eddie would just reload him with 5M every time he hits zero to keep the show going. 500k, for Drake’s bet size, is nothing.”

He added that those supporting the case misunderstand how sponsorships work in gambling streams, saying regulated casino operators are “abysmal in comparison” and that “they would sponsor people to gamble at their casino, but who would watch someone play a 57% RTP machine all day.”
