The Black Ops 7 and Warzone Season 1 Reloaded update has arrived, bringing with it a host of weapon balancing changes that look set to change the meta completely.
The Season 1 update was huge for both Black Ops 7 and Warzone, as Treyarch’s latest game fully integrated with the battle royale. It also brought plenty of new guns, like the Maddox RFB Assault Rifle and Sokol 545 LMG, as well as the Haven’s Hollow Resurgence map.
But that was just the start, and the mid-season patch comes with even more fresh weapons, and even a Fallout crossover. It also introduces another batch of balancing updates that could change which guns dominate until Season 2.
So, here’s every weapon buff and nerf in the Season 1 Reloaded update.

Warzone
Assault Rifles
We’ve updated the Mid-Range Barrel across all Black Ops 7 ARs. These barrels now provide an ADS movement speed bonus and, in some cases, improved mid-range performance, making them a strong option for sniper support builds.
AK-27
Attachment Adjustments
- 17″ Bystro Speed Barrel
- Now provides a 7% ADS movement speed benefit
- Medium Damage Range 1 benefit improved from 25% to 35%
- AK-27 Battle-Scar Conversion
- Maximum Range damage decreased from 70 to 56
- Medium Range damage decreased from 56 to 47
- Minimum Range damage decreased from 47 to 42
This conversion was slightly too strong due to its fast time-to-kill. We’ve adjusted its damage profile so it now requires one additional bullet to secure a kill across each damage range.
DS20 MIRAGE

- Now provides a 7% ADS movement speed benefit

We’ve made targeted improvements to the Maddox RFB’s bullet velocity and mid-range performance, enabling it to better compete and perform consistently across engagement distances.
MXR-17
Attachment Adjustments
- 18″ Rapid Sterling Barrel
- Now provides a 7% ADS movement speed benefit
Overall, the damage adjustment slightly reduces the MXR-17’s effectiveness at long range, creating more room for other ARs to compete at extended distances.

Black Ops 7
Although the Season 1 Reloaded patch notes are now live, the buffs and nerfs for Black Ops 7 haven’t been released. In the notes, the devs explained, “Weapon tuning, including adjustments to the Maddox, will be coming shortly after the launch of Season 01 Reloaded.”
