Arc Raiders devs respond as item dupe exploit remains despite new update

Arc Raiders’ item duplication exploit has remained active in the game following the game’s February 10 Shared Watch update, despite players hoping the update would remedy the issue.

The exploit, which allows players to duplicate valuable items and effectively generate large sums of in-game currency or items such as grenades and other throwables, has been widely documented across social media.

While the bug has unsurprisingly been exploited to gain an unfair advantage, others have taken advantage of the chaos by professing their love for rubber ducks.

Embark says it is “actively working on a fix”

On February 10, following the Shared Watch patch release, a member of Embark Studios addressed the exploit in Arc Raiders’ official Discord server, writing, “We are aware of the duplication issue, and we are actively working on a fix.”

However, as of the latest player reports following the Shared Watch patch, the exploit is still said to be functioning. Community posts and gameplay clips continue to show items being duplicated, raising concerns about the in-game economy and competitive balance.

Within an hour of the update going live, players confirmed the exploit was still possible on the game’s subreddit.

The glitch has become one of the most talked-about issues in Arc Raiders, particularly given the scale at which some players have been able to generate items.

While Embark has acknowledged the problem publicly, no timeline has been given for when a full fix will be implemented.
