A community of Arc Raiders players has banded together to help those in need, vowing to rescue them from both deadly Arc and hostile raiders.

One of the reasons that Arc Raiders has maintained such an impressive player count is the freedom it offers to play however you want. If you want to be a pacifist, you can complete most runs without firing a shot, but if you have a thirst for blood, you can go in all guns blazing.

The real conflict comes when the two worlds collide, and those just hunting loot cross paths with rogue raiders looking for a fight.

Luckily, there’s a group of players who have joined up with one goal — keeping friendly players alive.

Arc Raiders Rescue Raiders are trying to “keep the peace”

The group has branded themselves ‘Rescue Raiders,’ and they have a subreddit dedicated to their heroics, and the page’s description clearly outlines their philosophy.

“Arc Raiders that are hell bent on keeping the peace, by any means necessary. Assisting against both the Arc and hostile raiders, a Rescue Raider is committed to help first, and always shoot second,” it reads. “

“Tell tales of your heroics, post clips of clutch saves, show off peaceful encounters, celebrate the defibs, and let’s keep Arc interesting. Peace is always our first option.”

The subreddit is filled with videos of their exploits, many of which involve saving downed players who have been left for dead by Arc or enemy raiders. If they come across someone in need, Rescue Raiders carry Defibrillators that ensure they can pick them back up.

One showed a brave, unarmed player with absolutely no armor or shield risking their life to save someone surrounded by Hornets. They ran in, quickly defibbed the raider in need, and escaped before the grateful rescuee said, “You’re amazing.”

Sometimes, they’re forced to take more drastic action in the name of peace. Another clip showed three players escaping together, only for one to start shooting while the other was activating the terminal.

But rather than sitting idly by and helping themselves to their loot, the Rescue Raider turned on the attacker, gunned them down, and revived the helpless player.
