Of all the things you’d expect from Beast Games Season 2, a love story isn’t one of them. But Players 152 and 173, aka Monika and Jim, have beaten the odds by forming a relationship after meeting on the show – and they may still be together.
The stakes are high in the second chapter of MrBeast’s competition series, which debuted on Prime Video on January 7. Unlike Beast Games Season 1’s 1,000 contestants, there are 200 players split evenly between the smartest and the strongest.
Only one winner will be taking home a whopping $5 million cash prize, and the competition is heating up now that the 200 players have been whittled down to just 25. Among them are the two lovebirds whose relationship has sparked plenty of discussion online.
In Episode 2, Player 173, Jim, asks Player 152, Monika, to be his girlfriend, choosing to make it official after they both survive the latest round of challenges – but did they go the distance?
Are Players 152 and 173 still together after Beast Games Season 2?
Although the pair haven’t explicitly said they are still together, Player 173 and 152’s Instagram posts have all but confirmed their relationship is still going strong months after Beast Games Season 2 wrapped up filming.
For the uninitiated, the very first episode of the Prime Video show’s second chapter shows Jim and Monika growing close and kissing, before professing their love for each other in the next round.
This might seem fast, but viewers are only shown a small snapshot of life inside the competition, with contestants spending long stretches together off camera that don’t make the final edit.
In a solo interview, Jim says, “I might have met another contestant on the show. She’s really sweet, number 152.” The camera then cuts to the pair interacting, with Jim telling Monika, “I don’t want to go six weeks without you.” Monika then says, “You’re coming home with me.”
When they both separately make it through to Game 3, they’re reunited in Beast City, where they say they love each other. Jim then announces, “I want to make this official… I want you to be my girlfriend,” to which Monika replies, “I will.”
Even though we’re in January 2026, filming for Beast Games Season 2 took place between June and August 2025. But if you take a look at Jim and Monika’s Instagrams, you’ll see that they very much appear to be together today.
Both recently shared a clip of Jim training for the series, with the caption stating, “All this just to get carried by my girl on Beast Games,” a joke implying Monika’s outperforming him in challenges, while also subtly confirming that they’re still together.
They also shared the aforementioned scene of their relationship developing, alongside the caption, “Bro: ‘I got no game’. Also him if he just started talking.” But that’s not the only evidence.
On Christmas Eve, Monika posted a photo of her wearing a Santa hat and wrote, “Not cute anymore.” But Jim bigged her up in the comments, stating, “CHAT I’M LOSING IT RN.” A friend replied to this saying, “You make a lovely couple,” which Monika hearted.
She also posted a thirst trap in November with the caption, “Giving main character energy,” to which Jim commented, “I’d risk it ALL.”
Jim’s Instagram is also packed full of couple’s posts, including one from December in which he bigs up her tats and athletic background. “Don’t sleep on that gymnastics background,” he wrote.
There are a couple of videos from Halloween too, when the couple dressed as Art and the Little Pale Girl from Terrifier 2. In short, even if they don’t win the series, it looks like they’ve won each other’s hearts.
