Arthur Morgan’s voice actor was asked to deliver “words of support” after someone accidentally deleted their fiancée’s save file.
Anyone who’s sunk hours into Red Dead Redemption 2 knows how precious a save file can be. Unfortunately for one player, their file was accidentally deleted by their fiancée.
As a way to make up for it, the person went the extra mile and hired Roger Clark, the voice behind Arthur Morgan, to deliver a personal apology on their behalf.

For the uninitiated, Clark takes requests on Cameo, where fans can pay for personalized video messages for $159. There’s one recent request that stood out, however.
One person admitted that they accidentally deleted their fiancée’s Red Dead Redemption 2 save file, despite her having “so much fun” and “made every ethical decision.”
To make matters worse, she was already about two-thirds through the game. In the request, they asked, “Could you share a few words of support for this devastating loss and let her know I’m sorry?”
Seeing this, Clark didn’t seem to mind at all. He shared the request on X and even told fans to send the “poor girl” some positive vibes. In his post, Clark wrote that he’s really “blown away” by the support fans show him on Cameo.
“Thank you for liking my shout-outs. I enjoy them all, but it’s ones like these below that I live for. Let us all send this poor girl positive vibes. At least her man knows what he did,” he wrote.
Since then, many have flocked to the comments to show support.
One person assured that she’ll surely be happier to restart her save file if Arthur Morgan cheers her up.
“On the plus side, she will be able to play that masterpiece again with more knowledge than before,” said another.
Now the real question is whether she’ll forgive her fiancée even if Arthur Morgan asked nicely.
