Asmongold is completely dominating YouTube in 2025, with more people searching for the Twitch star than Kendrick Lamar, IShowSpeed, WWE, the NBA, Minecraft and more.
Twitch streamer Asmongold has become one of the most popular internet stars with his rising political content – and he’s managed to transcend platforms.
Despite only streaming on Twitch and being the most-watched North American streamer on the Amazon-owned platform in Q1 2025, he’s also seeing ridiculous results on YouTube.
In fact, people seem to care so much about his takes on hot-button topics that he’s emerged as the 8th most-searched term on the Google-owned site.
Asmongold shocked after dominating YouTube search in 2025
According to stats from SimilarWeb, in 2025, only 7 terms are higher than ‘Asmongold’ so far in global rankings.
The most by far is ‘ASMR,’ which generated 16,800,000 searches. Second is ‘Trump’ with 9,235,599 and then the most-subscribed YouTuber, ‘MrBeast,’ with 9,209,303.
From there, Lofi, music, Sidemen, and ‘apt’ round out the top seven, followed then by Asmongold with a whopping 7,283,758.
This is more than the likes of rapper Kendrick Lamar, who comes in 9th with 6,820,703, and 14th place IShowSpeed, who has 5,289,547.
Shockingly, this means that Asmongold has bested huge brands like the WWE, UFC, NBA, Minecraft, Real Madrid and Joe Rogan.
Most of Asmongold’s YouTube content comes in the form of his clips channel and Asmongold TV channel, where he reposts segments from his Twitch broadcasts.
And he was baffled by just how popular he is, commenting “Wtf” in the response to the search metrics.
