Popular streamer Asmongold explained why he has no plans to leave Twitch and stream on Kick after leaking his earnings from October.
Asmongold is one of the internet’s top content creators with millions of followers across X, Twitch, Kick and YouTube. As a result, he’s been earning a fortune for his takes on political and cultural matters.
On November 3, Asmongold revealed that he’d been “nerfed” on Twitch and wasn’t making anywhere near as much as he once was, exposing his dashboard showing how he made in October.
In the spooky month, he pulled in just under $20,000 on Twitch through subs while making $165,000 on Kick.
“[Kick has] a partner incentive program,” he explained. “If I turned this off and I only stream on Kick, I’d probably make close to $1M a month, because they double your hourly rate if you stream exclusively on Kick.”
Despite Asmon believing he’d make far more if he left Twitch completely, the streamer says he won’t be doing that.

According to the streamer, he just “doesn’t feel like” only broadcasting on Kick, noting that some viewers like watching on Twitch.
“What, am I not making enough money?” he asked. “Who cares. If I wanted to do something that would make a lot of money, this is a weird thing to talk about, I have so much money now that I could do something that would make a lot more money than streaming at this point.”
He further stated that it’s “not about money anymore” and that he would make more money by getting other people to do something for him at a larger scale.
He didn’t elaborate on what his plans might be, but noted that everyone who is ultra rich isn’t a singer, remarking how former Activision-Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick makes “real money” compared to a rapper.
Despite his overwhelming wealth, Asmongold has been keen to document his average life and often perplexing lifestyle and diet.
