Assassin’s Creed Shadows is getting a crossover with Dead by Daylight, so here’s when it releases and everything that was revealed so far.
Dead by Daylight is no stranger to the world of collabs. The popular survival horror game is constantly adding to its ever-growing list of Survivors and Killers, with The Witcher, Tokyo Ghoul, and Five Nights at Freddy’s all receiving DLC.
However, in a surprise move, Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be teaming up with DbD to deliver another epic collab. On May 14, Ubisoft posted a brief 12-second video of protagonists Naoe and Yasuke standing beside a fire.
A shadowy figure wearing samurai armor is also shown and glows with red energy as he stares at the two characters.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows x DbD collab DLC
The Tweet reads: “Step into The Fog. A new Dead by Daylight quest begins. Slip through the shadows. Survive the ordeal.” While we don’t know what the “special collaboration” entails, we won’t have to wait long, as the collab will release on May 27, 2025.
It’s also important to note that this collaboration will likely release alongside the long-awaited parkour update. The Assassin’s Creed Shadows roadmap mentions this update will drop in “late May” and will include several parkour changes and an update to photo mode.
It’s also important to note that the special collaboration and parkour update are mentioned as being free, so you won’t need to make any purchases to experience this content.
Following on from the Dead by Daylight crossover, Assassin’s Creed Shadows will then release the next major story drop – New Ally For Your League. As the name suggests, you’ll likely receive a new ally to help join the league.
There will also be a free quest and a new difficulty setting, alongside more gameplay immersion options.
