ASUS and Crypton Future Media have teamed up to give Hatsune Miku fans a full PC gaming collection themed around Japan’s most iconic virtual idol. From the eye-catching turquoise highlights to the custom keycaps and artwork, this limited-edition line is a must for every Miku fan’s dream desk.
The collection includes a keyboard, headset, mouse, and mousepad, each designed to blend Miku’s futuristic aesthetic with ASUS’s more affordable TUF Gaming line. It’s stylish, playful, and packed with character, but the big question is whether the performance matches the presentation.

Keyboard
The keyboard is absolutely stunning, and stylistically worthy of the virtual idol that inspired it. From the mini Mikus on the spacebar and X key to the sound-bar motifs and turquoise coloring of her hair, the ASUS TUF Gaming K3 Gen II Hatsune Miku Edition is visually a real winner.
There are also some themed extras, including alternate keycaps, stickers, and a poster thrown in for good measure, so you’re not going to fall short on fan service here.
Under the hood, it packs ASUS’s signature optical-mechanical switches with full RGB lighting, a 100-million-keypress lifespan, and has no latency issues or pesky double-key presses. The latter is particularly noteworthy, especially for those who plan to spend hours chasing high scores in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix+.
It’s an impressive package for its $99 price tag, and the water and dust resistance is a nice bonus, particularly for those who are more accident-prone. Sadly, there’s a noticeably plasticky feel, which makes the keyboard feel a little cheap, and while the keys deliver the familiar mechanical tap, they lack the crisp, satisfying click you’d expect from a more premium board.
The compact 97-key layout also means that its keys are slightly shifted. It might not be a deal breaker for some, but Miku fans more used to full-sized or even smaller keyboards will have to take some time to adjust.
While the Hatsune Miku-themed keyboard is a gorgeous piece, the smaller size and plasticky feel may prevent some users who use their computer outside of gaming from making this their full-time keyboard.
Headphones
While not as eye-catching as the keyboard, the ASUS TUF Gaming H1 Gen II Hatsune Miku Edition still carries that signature turquoise flair, complete with a tiny illuminated Miku on each ear cup. It’s lightweight, comfortable, and most importantly, incredibly cute.
At just 297g, it doesn’t cause discomfort after eight hours of work and gaming. Sound quality is clear, with the 40mm ASUS Essence drivers and virtual 7.1 surround doing a good job of delivering immersive environmental sounds. However, bass-heavy beats and explosions can feel a little flat and could use more punch.
Despite the lack of swivel and overall adjustability, the cups fit snugly around my ears and didn’t cause any sound leakage, which is ideal if you don’t want everyone hearing your late-night gaming session. Despite being adjustable, I did find that the microphone sat quite close to my face, and while I’m a big Miku fan, I don’t love her enough to eat a microphone for her.
As someone who mostly uses Bluetooth headphones when gaming and commuting, it’s a shame this one’s wired-only. Still, for a $99.99 headset, it performs solidly and feels like a step up from other mid-range options like the HyperX Cloud Stinger 2, which retails for around $50 – just don’t go expecting the same sound quality as top-tier models like the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless.
Mouse & Mousepad
The ASUS TUF Gaming Mini Wireless Mouse Hatsune Miku Edition is small but surprisingly comfortable. Like the headset, it’s lightweight and glides effortlessly across the mousepad, making it a great fit for FPS and rhythm games where quick flicks and reactions matter most.
I put Miku’s mouse through its paces in Valorant and Fortnite, and was impressed with how responsive it felt in both wired and Bluetooth modes. Despite its petite design, I never experienced hand cramps, which is always a bonus during long gaming sessions.
Compared to premium wireless options like the Logitech G Pro 2 Lightspeed, which sells for around $150–$180 USD, the ASUS TUF Gaming Mini Wireless Mouse Hatsune Miku Edition comes in at roughly $110 USD. Despite the lower price, it still delivers tri-mode connectivity, with 2.4GHz Wireless, Bluetooth, and USB-C.
While the Logitech G Pro 2 packs a superior HERO 2 sensor rated up to 44,000 DPI with a build quality aimed at esports players, for anyone outside that competitive scene, the ASUS Miku mouse feels super responsive, and not to mention, far more stylish.
Tying the colorful combo together is the Hatsune Miku TUF Gaming mousepad. Miku herself is positioned just off center to the left, waving with a cute pose that makes the whole mat pop. She also stands in front of her own name, just in case you were ever in doubt that this was a Miku collab.
While it almost feels wrong to cover her up during use, the design is practical too. The 260 x 360 mm pad features a gaming-grade cloth surface for accurate tracking and a protective water-resistant coating that helps it hold up under heavy use. The stitched edges also feel firm and smooth, avoiding the roughness that can come from cheaper pads, and more importantly, it prevents any unwanted fraying.
Verdict
ASUS and Crypton’s Hatsune Miku collection is stylish, packed with personality, and leans into Miku’s aesthetic without ever feeling gimmicky. The keyboard performs well even though it’s smaller than more premium boards, the headphones are solid, and the mouse offers fast, responsive performance against pricier competitors.
So, as a bundle, you’re getting a full themed setup that looks great, feels good to use, and stays fairly priced for what each product offers. It isn’t flawless, but for around $300, it’s a strong package that balances fan service with genuine functionality. If you love Miku and want a setup that proves it, this collection more than earns its place on your desk.
