Baldur’s Gate 3 modders have finally added one of DnD’s best modules to the game, bringing Curse of Strahd to your screens.
One of Baldur’s Gate 3’s best aspects is its modding, allowing players to create a variety of their favorite Dungeons and Dragons moments within the RPG… like a certain unreasonably attractive vampire (no, not Astarion).
While it’s certainly up for debate, Curse of Strahd is widely known as one of the best Dungeons and Dragons modules ever made. Complete with a flirtatious, powerful, and morally questionable vampire (again, no, not Astarion), Curse of Strahd places you in Barovia as you work to take the Baron Strahd down.
Fans adore the adventure and have been calling for a BG3 version since the game originally released. Well, that’s finally possible in the upcoming mod Dinner with Strahd, and it looks like everything players have been waiting for.
Dinner With Strahd finally introduces Curse of Strahd to BG3
Aptly named Dinner With Strahd, and as originally reported by Rock Paper Shotgun, this custom campaign mod lets you complete a short story to attend a dinner party with Count Strahd von Zarovich, the rather morally grey main villain (or love interest if your DM is kind enough) of the Curse of Strahd campaign.
During the adventure, you get the chance to explore his home, Castle Ravenloft, complete with “over 600 fully voiced and animated lines of dialogue,” though Strahd’s voice has yet to be revealed.
What’s more, as teased by the modder, there’s also “something secret for the Strahd romancers,” so we expect a little love scene to come if you can get those charisma rolls high enough.
