Ahead of the second weekend of the Battlefield 6 Open Beta, EA have set players the almighty challenge of doing $1 trillion worth of destruction to earn a special M60 weapon skin.
Destruction has always been the centerpiece of the Battlefield series, making it stand out from Call of Duty and other rival shooters. After all, why would you go into a house and clear the enemies out when you can level the entire building and bring it down on their heads?
Battlefield 6 ramps the chaos up even further, as players have been finding out during the Open Beta. In the first weekend alone, a total of $75 billion worth of havoc was wreaked, from blown-out windows and crashed trucks to full apartment blocks being turned to rubble.
Now, with the second weekend due to start from August 14, EA have urged the community to pump up those numbers.
How to get free Community Destruction M60 skin in BF6
If a total of $1 trillion of damage is done by the time the Open Beta closes on August 17, all players will receive the Community Destruction skin for the M60 LMG. This includes the $75 billion done in the first weekend, so you do have a head start, but there’s a long way to go.
The devs will be tracking the stats automatically across the weekend, but you can find out how much you’ve contributed by following these steps:
- Clip 30 seconds of destructive BF6 gameplay.
- Post it to X with the #BF6Receipts and @ the official Battlefield account.
- Within 24 hours, your receipt will be added to the leaderboard found here.
- Search your username in the bar at the top to find your damage.
Once the beta comes to an end, if this insane milestone has been hit, all players will have the Community Destruction skin waiting for them on October 10, when Battlefield 6 launches worldwide.
