Battlefield 6 players think they’ve discovered a daily XP limit, after which you earn absolutely no points for matches, and it’s even active during double XP weekends.

As shared by Reddit user ‘IFrame-,’ the critically-acclaimed shooter appenently caps all players in 1,500 XP in a single day. If you hit this number, you must wait until the following day before any of your kills, objectives, or completed matches contribute to your level.

This is a pretty hefty goal on a normal day, but the limit is still in place during double XP weekends, which the OP claims can be hit in just four or five hours of playtime during these windows.

While this will likely only be an issue for the most dedicated of players who put in many hours per day, fans have strongly criticized the decision to include any cap at all.

BF6 players slam daily XP cap

“In a $70 #AAA’ game, not a mobile free2play title, you’re being told how much fun you’re allowed to have per day,” wrote the OP. “This isn’t a free live service grindfest. This is a full price shooter with a F2P gacha like system glued on top.”

“Not to say I’m going to do this, but it’s still $70 I spent for myself, so why the f**k put a cap on my good time?” asked a reply, while another joked: “Here’s your new car! Now, you can only drive 150 miles.”

Some argued that the reason for this cap might be to prevent players from using modes like Portal or even Redsec Gauntlet to farm XP and progress too quickly. However, argued that the cap is actually too low when you consider how quickly it can be earned.

“I got 200k XP for a single win in RedSec yesterday, the game was 21 minutes long. 1.5m doesn’t really seem that insane to be fair,” replied one player.

Not that crazy, I got 140,000 XP for a gauntlet game yesterday,” added a second.

DICE hasn’t officially responded to confirm the XP cap just yet, but it’s definitely sparked a big debate within the Battlefield community.
