The Battlefield 6 Open Beta has come to an end, meaning players will have to wait until October until they can enjoy all the powerful weapons, explore the upcoming maps, or benefit from all the rewards offered through the game’s challenges. But you can still bag more rewards, this time through Battlefield 2042.
Battlefield 2042 may be well in the background now after the massive success of Battlefield 6, but that doesn’t mean EA has simply left it behind. In fact, as a last hurrah for the rather rocky journey the game’s been on, they’ve released a massive update, adding in new weapons, maps, and even Battlefield 6 rewards.
Essentially, as part of the huge 2042 update, players can bag themselves various rewards. However, these aren’t all actually part of 2042. Instead, some will transfer over to your Battlefield 6 adventure, meaning there’s way more exclusive rewards for you to get hold of. Plus, it also means there’s more Battlefield, so it’s a win-win really.
How to get Battlefield 2042’s new Battlefield 6 rewards
As shared by Battlefield on X, players now have the chance to explore the new and improved Iwo Jima map and “unlock free exclusive rewards you’ll take straight into Battlefield 6.” This essentially means you’ll be given a variety of challenges (just like the Open Beta). Once you complete them, you’ll get your Battlefield 6 rewards.
There are over 20 exclusive rewards for you to grab for Battlefield 6 simply by playing through the free Battle Pass in Battlefield 2042, which ends on October 7, 2025.
These include the following skins:
- Bridge Between Nations Specialist Skin
- Western Front Weapon Skin (Battlefield 1)
- Muller Weapon Skin (Battlefield V)
- Aurora Vehicle Skin (Bad Company 2)
- Blackburn Vehicle Skin (Battlefield 3)
- Commander Soldier Skin (Battlefield 4)
- Sovereign Soldier Skin (Battlefield 2042)
So, you’ll just need to complete challenges, level up, and progress in the Pass, and you’ll have plenty of exclusive rewards for the next iteration.
