Battlefield 6 Redsec officially released on October 28, 2025, as a free-to-play battle royale mode tied to Season 1. The excitement came fast. It marked Battlefield’s biggest shift yet, pulling its trademark destruction and vehicle combat into a standalone mode.
Set on California’s massive Fort Lyndon map, Redsec dropped players into fire-filled circles, collapsing zones, and squad-based tension that felt pure Battlefield, but a particular group of players looked cooler than the rest – and for free, no less.
PlayStation players crowned winners with free Rogue Ops pack
EA quietly revealed that PlayStation users could claim a free Rogue Ops pack in both Battlefield 6 and Redsec. The pack appeared automatically in the in-game store, free for anyone with a linked PlayStation Plus account.
It’s a sharp-looking bundle that fits Redsec’s covert theme. The headline item is the Going Dark PAX Assault Soldier skin, featuring a masked operator in blackout armor. There’s also a No Limits soldier patch, Target Spotted player card background, and Jacked In weapon charm. Small touches, but slick ones.
The pack goes further with two weapon bundles: the Arctic Reign L110 and Early Grave P18, both covered in icy camo patterns. A Night Raid UH-79 helicopter skin, Lead Rain dog tag, and Aggressive Tactics vehicle decal round out the look, giving players a complete stealth-ready loadout. It’s free for PlayStation users only, leaving Xbox and PC players watching from the sidelines.
To claim it, PlayStation Plus players just need to log in, open the store tab, and add the Rogue Ops pack to their inventory before Season 1 ends.
