Battlefield 6 players aren’t happy with how long it takes to unlock camos for their weapons, with many feeling that rewards aren’t worth the grind.
Like most multiplayer games, Battlefield 6 features a huge lineup of rewards to unlock as you play. These range from new attachments for each weapon as it levels up to different skins for every class’s characters.
This includes camos for each gun, which can be earned by ranking up that weapon’s mastery by playing matches and getting kills.
However, since the game arrived on October 10, players have been complaining about slow progression, and the rewards at the end don’t seem to be worth the time investment.
BF6 players call out underwhelming weapon rewards
Some players have been reporting that it can take up to 15 hours to fully level up a single weapon and unlock the ‘mastery’ camo reward. This obviously varies based on skill level, but even some streamers have taken over 10 hours to max out a gun.
But when ‘Maxiq’ shared the final camo for the Kord 6P67 Assault Rifle, plenty of players responded, questioning if it was all worth it, as it doesn’t look too different from the base weapon.
“Not even trying to be funny but is the camo even on the gun or is he taking the p**s?” asked one reply.
“This mastery camo made me pre-order Black Ops 7,” said streamer TDAWG.
“The fact there’s delusional people thinking it’s worth the hours of grinding per weapon for a poo camo is crazy,” added another reply.
While many players have been frustrated with the amount of time it takes to level up a gun and earn the camos, others would be more than willing to grind if the payoff were more noticeable.
“I don’t need Unicorns and Rainbows, but this looks like something I’d unlock at rank 5 lol,” wrote another player.
