Battlefield 6’s Open Beta is no more, and players need to wait until October before they can dive back into the various weapons, game modes, and, of course, maps. Well, one new map has just been leaked, and it’s massive.

While some complained about the need for Secure Boot on PC, others jumped on the reduction of the Rush mode player count. However, a huge majority of players focused more on the maps, with many complaining that they were far too small, especially for a large-scale Battlefield like this one.

Well, in an interview with CharlieIntel, the developers revealed that “We have a lot of variety in this package from modes, from maps, from locations, from size, from different types of play styles,” hinting that bigger maps will be coming soon. Now, in a recent leak, we’ve got footage of the game’s “largest” map, and it’s huge.

Battlefield 6 map leaked & it’s more than double Siege of Cairo

Shared in a leak on X, news page 1BF revealed an image of three maps in Battlefield 6. The first, and smallest, is Siege of Cairo, which many experienced in the Open Beta.

However, there are two more that we’ve not seen before, Eastwood (marked in blue) and Mirak Valley (marked in white).

Now, given the scale of Siege of Cairo, and the fact that Eastwood is arguably double the size, that’s already a big map. So, when you take Mirak Valley and double the size of Eastwood, you’ve got a huge map to play with.

According to our calculations, thanks to the 100m key, Siege of Cairo is roughly 500m. Mirak Valley is roughly 1,500m (0,588km2). This is three times the size of the maps we played in the Open Beta.

If this leak is correct, it’ll be considerably bigger than any map players have explored so far, and it’ll certainly bring the size battles players have been calling for.
