The best Arena 1 decks in Clash Royale will help you fly through Goblin Stadium, even with the limited cards you have early on.

Goblin Stadium is where your Clash Royale journey officially kicks off. Once you’re done with the tutorial, this is the first Arena you’ll enter, where you’ll start using your own deck and get a real feel for how matches play out.

Things aren’t too complicated here yet, but with such a small card pool, building a good deck can still be tricky if you’re not sure what works best.

So if you’re feeling a bit stuck, don’t worry, we’ve put together a list of the best Arena 1 decks to help you get started.

Best Arena 1 decks

Since your card options in Goblin Stadium are still pretty limited, there’s not a ton of variety in the decks yet. But even switching up one or two cards can totally change how your whole setup plays out.

Giant-Mini P.E.K.K.A Beatdown deck

Deck composition:

  • Giant
  • Mini P.E.K.K.A
  • Goblin Cage
  • Archers
  • Musketeer
  • Knight
  • Fireball
  • Arrows

This deck gives you a strong defense and a steady counterpush, all thanks to the Giant + Mini P.E.K.K.A combo. With an average cost of 3.7 Elixir, it’s simple, effective, and great for anyone just starting out.

Your Giant is the star of the show here. He’s your main win condition and the one doing most of the tower damage. Drop him up front, then place a Mini P.E.K.K.A right behind to protect him and deal with any defending troops that get in the way.

It’s always smart to have a building in your deck, and Goblin Cage fits perfectly. It can pull enemy tanks away from your tower and help you stop big pushes before they get close.

If you need some extra punch against beefier troops, use the Knight. And for annoying swarms, Fireball and Arrows will clear them out fast.

Giant-Goblin Hut deck

Deck composition:

  • Giant
  • Goblin Hut
  • Mini P.E.K.K.A
  • Knight
  • Archer
  • Minions
  • Arrows
  • Fireball

In the early arenas, it’s best to stick with a balanced deck that helps you learn the core fundamentals, and this one does exactly that. With an average cost of 3.75 Elixir, it leans a bit on the heavier side, but you can get great value out of it if you manage your Elixir wisely.

Your Giant serves as the main tank and tower pusher. Drop a Mini P.E.K.K.A or Knight right behind him to help handle enemy troops and add extra damage support.

While you’re pushing, place a Goblin Hut to distract enemies and chip away at their towers over time. If your opponent brings in air troops, Archers and Minions will easily take care of them.

Finally, Arrows and Fireball are solid spells that work in almost any situation, though they’re mainly used to clear out swarms. One thing to keep in mind is to space out your Goblin Hut and other troops, so if your opponent uses a Fireball, it doesn’t take out everything at once.

What is the best Arena 1 deck in Clash Royale?

Deck composition:

  • Giant
  • Mini P.E.K.K.A
  • Goblin Cage
  • Archers
  • Musketeer
  • Goblins
  • Fireball
  • Arrows

This is the classic Giant Beatdown deck, one of the oldest and most recognizable setups in Clash Royale. It’s been around since the game’s early days and still works great today. The concept is simple: a tank up front, support behind, and spells to clear the way. With an average cost of 3.6 Elixir, it’s nicely balanced, efficient, and easy to manage.

Here’s how it works. Start with a Giant in front, then drop a Mini P.E.K.K.A right behind him for some extra punch toward the tower. The Giant’s your tank and win condition, so he soaks up all the hits, while the Mini P.E.K.K.A dishes out heavy single-target damage and helps deal with enemy tanks.

Archers and the Musketeer take care of air troops, while Fireball and Arrows clear swarms in a pinch. And with Goblin Cage and Goblins on defense, you’ve got a sturdy setup to keep your towers safe.
