Clash Royale‘s Arena 13 can be challenging due to the meta, but you can use the best decks to breeze through it.
If you’ve made it to Arena 13, you’ve already come a long way since you first started. By now, you probably have a good feel for the meta and how to deal with most matchups, but Rascal’s Hideout can still be a tough arena to push through.
Like previous Arenas, you’ll be able to unlock new cards here to expand your pool. Though that also means that some of your older decks may no longer be effective here.
If you’re not sure what to run, we’ve put together the best decks for Rascal’s Hideout below to help you climb with ease.
Best Arena 13 decks
It’s safe to expect a lot of variety when it comes to decks in Rascal’s Hideout. Since there are so many cards unlocked at this point, you’ll likely run into people who love experimenting with different combos. Still, having good game sense and a solid deck will always give you a better chance of winning.
LavaLoon deck
Deck composition:
- Lava Hound
- Balloon
- Inferno Dragon
- Skeleton Dragons
- Guards
- Tombstone
- Fireball
- Zap
LavaLoon is easily one of the most frustrating decks to play against. If your opponent doesn’t have strong air defense, games can snowball really fast. With an average Elixir cost of 4.0, it’s on the heavier side, but that’s exactly what you’d expect from a Lava deck.
The main combo is super simple. Once you’re at full elixir, drop Lava Hound in the back and let it walk up. When it reaches the bridge, place the Balloon behind it so the Hound tanks the damage.
From here, it’s pretty much just a matter of using the right support. Skeleton Dragons are great for clearing groups of units, while Inferno Dragon is your go-to answer for big, tanky threats.
Defense is solid too. Tombstone does a great job pulling and distracting annoying troops, and when you pair it with Guards soaking hits, you can slow pushes down and force awkward spell usage.
If your opponent tries to shut things down, Fireball and Zap are there to back you up. Just don’t stack them unnecessarily, as spacing your spells can make a big difference.
3.0 X-Bow deck
Deck composition:
- Archers
- Tesla
- X-Bow
- Knight
- Skeletons
- Electro Spirit
- Fireball
- The Log
X-Bow isn’t the kind of deck where you just throw down a big push and hope it works. It’s more about control and setting things up so your X-Bow can stay locked on for as long as possible. It’s also really cheap, sitting at just a 3.0 average Elixir cost, and it can be insanely strong if you play it well.
Most of the time, your goal is to place X-Bow in the same lane as their tower. Tesla is the key partner here, since it pulls tanks, melts single targets, and basically keeps enemy troops away while X-Bow does its thing.
To buy even more time, you can cycle Skeletons and Electro Spirit to distract units or reset targets. If things start to get messy, Knight and Archers are there to clean up both ground and air troops.
Once everything’s under control, you don’t even have to force connections. Fireball chip adds up quickly, and if your opponent tries to swarm you, The Log clears the path.
This deck definitely has a higher skill floor, but once you get comfortable with it, it punishes bad decisions hard and stays surprisingly consistent on the ladder.
What is the best Arena 13 deck in Clash Royale?
Deck composition:
- Wallbreakers
- P.E.K.K.A
- Royal Ghost
- Bandit
- Electro Wizard
- Magic Archer
- Fireball
- Zap
This P.E.K.K.A Wall Breakers deck is a strong option in Rascal’s Hideout. It’s a proven archetype in mid-to-high arenas, offering solid consistency and fewer bad matchups than most decks. With an average Elixir cost of 3.6, it’s also fairly forgiving to play.
With this deck, the playstyle is more about building a strong defense and then going for a counterpush. P.E.K.K.A does this really well, acting as your main anchor.
Have the P.E.K.K.A shut down tanks and enemy pushes, and add Bandit or Royal Ghost in the same lane to apply pressure. You can also add Magic Archer to hit troops and the tower, while everyone else is distracted.
Wall Breakers are a key part of the bridge spam pressure. Dropping them at the bridge forces your opponent to respond immediately, often trading elixir while they’re already dealing with other threats.
When it comes to defense, you can use the Electro Wizard to hold down the fort and stall troops from coming in. Fireball and Zap can just help clean up whatever’s left.
