Clash Royale‘s Arena 14 is tough, but using the best decks of cards that are top of the meta can help you breeze through it.
The best thing about reaching Arena 14 is that you’ll finally be able to unlock some powerful cards, like the Goblin Drill and Elixir Golem to add to your rotation. But of course, since this is no longer low level, grinding the trophies is no longer a walk in the park.
In Serenity Peak, you’ll often stumble upon enemies that already have meta decks and understand their matchups, meaning it’s important that you’re not just throwing random cards — so here are the best decks to use for Arena 14.
Best Arena 14 decks
Note: Each of the decks below focus on a different playstyle, so there’s something to suit your preferred approach.
Hog 2.8 cycle deck
Deck composition:
- Hog Rider
- The Log
- Cannon
- Musketeer
- Fireball
- Ice Golem
- Bomber
- Ice Spirit
A fast Hog deck has always been a time-tested classic, and you can’t really go wrong with this one in Serenity Peak. With only 2.8 average Elixir cost, it’s perfect for outpacing your enemies — not to mention it’s friendly to level up for F2P players, too.
Your main goal here is to cycle back to Hog Rider (your main win condition) as fast as possible, instead of sending in big pushes. To support the card, you can drop the Ice Spirit to freeze troops and towers, so it can get an extra hit.
Pairing it with the Ice Golem works well since it can tank, clear swarms, and create space for the Hog to chip damage. It all comes down to whatever counter you need against your enemy’s card.
As for defense, it’s pretty straightforward: Cannon will pull your enemies, so the Bomber or Ice Golem can finish them off. If they’ve got annoying air troops, you can also drop the Musketeer to deal with them.
For swarms, Fireball and The Log give you reliable control to clear space and keep the pressure on. As long as you manage your elixir well, this deck can easily carry you through tough matchups.
Giant Graveyard deck
Deck composition:
- Graveyard
- Giant
- Witch
- Bowler
- Guards
- Minions
- Snowball
- Arrows
If you’re the type to prefer a control-style deck with good defensive synergy, this one’s for you. It’s a bit on the heavier side at an average of 3.9 Elixir cost, but the trade off is that you get to run an annoying combo that’s hard to break through and is consistent.
The main idea is to play solid defense and then turn it into a counterpush with Giant, letting Graveyard chip down towers while your opponent is busy defending. That alone is already annoying to deal with, and it gets even worse once you add Bowler and Witch into the mix.
While the Bowler knocks back enemy troops, you drop the latter to keep flooding the lane with Skeletons to add more pressure — you can also throw in a Snowball for an opening and to help your troops connect.
Even without a building, the deck still holds up defensively. Bowler naturally fills that role by stalling pushes, while Guards, Witch, and Minions help clean up swarms and support units. And when things start getting messy, Arrows are always there to clean everything up if you time them right.
What is the best Arena 14 deck in Clash Royale?
Deck composition:
- Goblin Gang
- Rocket
- Goblin Barrel
- Ice Spirit
- Valkyrie
- The Log
- Inferno Tower
- Princess
This classic Log Bait deck is a strong pick for Arena 14. It’s easy to play, punishes mistakes hard, and runs at a comfortable 3.4 average Elixir cost. Despite being fairly cheap, it holds up well against common decks at this stage and constantly forces your enemies into awkward choices.
Unlike Hog 2.6, this deck isn’t about flashy combos. Most of the time, you’re just trying to force out your opponent’s spell.
A Princess at the bridge or in the back usually does the job, and once their Log or Arrows are out of cycle, you punish them immediately with Goblin Barrel. Barrel gets a lot of value when there’s no Log available, and it’s not your only bait tool.
Goblin Gang often draws out Zap or Log, and even Ice Spirit can be enough to burn a cheap response. When it comes to defense, you can drop the Inferno Tower to melt tanks, Valkyrie to clean up the rest, and The Log to keep anything from getting too close.
In the endgame, defend patiently and finish things off with a Rocket and Log chip. Overall, just avoid Barrelling when you know they have a Log and don’t stack all your bait cards into the same spell to get the most value of this deck.
