Springfield has officially arrived in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium, and with the right setup, she’s a top-tier support unit who brings massive value to Hydro-focused teams.

If you’ve been following the GFL2 meta, you’ve likely seen how impactful Springfield is on the Chinese server. Her powerful healing, team-wide buffs, and Confectance Index generation make her a must-pull for players looking to optimize damage or sustain-heavy comps.

She’s already proving essential in top-performing lineups, and we strongly recommend using your Collapse Pieces and Targeted Access Permissions to secure her while her limited banner is live. So, if you’ve unlocked her on the current GLF2 banner or just want to know the best build, weapon, team comp, and more, we have you covered.

Best Springfield build

To get the best Springfield build, we recommend using the following Keys, attachments, weapons, and team:

  • Weapon: Radiance
  • Team: Springfield, Tololo, Mechty, Klukai

Keys

  • Coalesced: When using the Ultimate skill Path of Protection, it pulls all targets three tiles towards the center of the effect.
  • Airborne Link: When Taryz is on the field, all allied units’ defense is increased by 10%.
  • Behind Her Smile: Before making an active attack, Springfield applies Hydro weakness for one turn.

Best attachments

  • Hydro Boost: When dealing Hydro damage, the damage is increased by 20%.
  • Phase Strike: Deals 15% increased damage to targets with Phase Element debuffs. This set is great for players who want to avoid grinding and have a set that can be used on multiple characters.

Springfield was released on July 3, 2025, as part of the Targeted Procurement limited banner. Her banner will run until July 23, 2025, giving players three weeks to roll for her using Targeted Access Permissions or Collapse Pieces.

She arrives alongside the Pyro unit Peri, offering players the chance to build out their meta fire team with a powerful Bulwark character.

Who is Springfield?

Springfield is an SSR rarity Support class Doll who excels at picking off enemies from long-distance ranges. She specializes in buffing Hydro Dolls and supplying life-saving heals from afar, which also overheal friendly units.

Best Springfield weapon

The best Springfield weapon is the Radiance rifle.

The best weapon for Springfield is her signature rifle, Radiance. Built specifically for her kit, Radiance boosts Hydro damage across the team and enhances her max HP by 15%, which in turn, buffs her healing and damage. This synergy makes Radiance a perfect fit for Springfield, elevating both her utility and team-wide impact.

The best free-to-play options are the M1903 Springfield and the Samosek (purchased from the in-game shop). First up is the M1903 Springfield, which restores two Stability Index (self) after healing an ally, while the Samosek ignores up to two points of Stability Index.

You can read all the traits and effects for each weapon in the table below:

Best Springfield team comp

Springfield can slot into a lot of team comps, but we would currently recommend using the following meta team to get the best results:

  • Springfield
  • Tololo
  • Mechty
  • Klukai

This meta team comp has already proven incredibly powerful on the Chinese server as it offers a perfect blend of healing, damage, buffs, and debuffs, which allows it to clear both PvE stages and boss fights.

At the heart of the team is Springfield, who provides consistent healing, debuff cleansing, and team buffs through her abilities and signature weapon, Radiance. Tololo is the main carry. Her ability to attack multiple times was already strong, but when paired with Springfield’s Hydro buffs, she becomes a nonstop damage machine.

Mechty serves as the team’s debuff support unit, applying AoE Corrosion debuffs that lower enemy defenses. This makes it easier for Tololo and Klukai to unleash the full bulk of their damage. Lastly, Klukai rounds out the comp with her S-tier AoE Corrosion damage, setting up perfect opportunities to wipe out grouped enemies.

The huge mobility offered by Klukai/Tololo can often make them hard to heal, but Springfield’s ranged heals avoid this issue completely. Be sure to use this meta team comp if you want to truly dominate the battlefield.
