The Echoes of the Dead event has arrived in Black Ops 6 and Warzone, giving players the opportunity to earn the insane new X52 Resonator weapon.
Although Season 6 is the final season of this chapter of Call of Duty, and Black Ops 7 is right around the corner, the content is showing no signs of slowing down. Not only has The Haunting Halloween event brought plenty of horror characters to the game, but there are also plenty of new guns on offer.
One of these is the X52 Resonator, a bizarre special weapon with multiple ammo types and incredible range. It can be earned through the Echoes of the Dead event, so here’s how it works and all the other rewards up for grabs.
Echoes of the Dead gets underway on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 10 AM / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST. It’s set to run for one week before coming to an end on Thursday, October 23.
How does it work?
The event brings a series of unique challenges that must be completed to earn rewards.
Each reward comes with three different objectives, relating to Black Ops 6 multiplayer, Zombies, or Warzone. The good news is that only one needs to be completed for each one, and you can mix and match between modes.
