There are an enormous number of things to do in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, from completing the weekly challenges to earning all of the Mastery Camos.
For the first time ever, the franchise features Weapon Prestige, where you can reset your weapon’s level to earn a new attachment, camos, and more. Once you’ve prestiged the weapon twice, you can then grind it all the way to Level 250.
This takes a very long time, even when utilizing Double XP Weekends, so imagine doing it for every weapon in the game. Well, that’s what Reddit user kaiiyu did, and as a reward, they were told to touch grass.
As shown by the Reddit user, for reaching “Weapon Prestige Master Max Level with 30 weapons,” you’ll get the “Touch Grass” Dark Ops Calling Card. It depicts a skeletal soldier lying on grass, looking exhausted, surrounded by weapons poking out of the ground.
They said it isn’t animated and, “for everyone asking, no there isn’t a camo this is the only thing I got.”
Since more weapons have been added in the Season 1 update, you don’t have to do it for every launch weapon – as long as you reach Weapon Prestige Master with 30 weapons, you’ll earn the Calling Card.
The Reddit user skipped the snipers and two melee weapons, so they speculated that you might get something extra for doing it with the launch weapons.
Players were unimpressed by the Calling Card. “Jesus Christ,” said one reply. “Their pick and choosing of what cards get animated or not is so awful. This is probably the grindiest card in the entire game, it should be animated.”
“Yea it really isn’t a great reward,” replied the OP. “When I saw there was a camo for doing all four mastery camos I thought there had to be one for maxing out weapon levels, definitely regret doing this it isn’t worth it at all.”
So, if you were ever tempted to take on this enormous grind, you now know what the reward is and can decide for yourself if it’s worth it.
