A new leak has revealed that a Fallout crossover is coming to Black Ops 7 in Season 1, bringing skins and cosmetics inspired by the post-apocalyptic RPG.
This is according to a post from trusted CoD leaker ‘TheGhostOfHope,’ who explained that it will arrive at some point in the game’s first season, but didn’t give a concrete date. Season 1 is expected to arrive sometime in December and run into late January or early February of 2026.
This isn’t the first time that Fallout and Call of Duty have teamed up, as there was a special event during Modern Warfare 3 to celebrate the release of the Amazon Prime show. Given that Fallout Season 2 airs on December 17, 2025, it’s no surprise to see it return once again.
Fallout returns to Call of Duty in Black Ops 7
The previous Fallout collab was a little divisive among fans, but although the leaker didn’t confirm exactly what the new skins will look like, they replied to their post explaining that it won’t just be Captain Price in a ‘Vault 141’ suit.
When one fan posted that they “hope it’s better than the last one,” they responded by saying: “It will be as far as I’m aware.”
This news comes after plenty of backlash surrounding previous crossover skins, particularly the likes of Beavis and Butt-Head from Black Ops 6. After this, the team went back on their decision to let players bring all of their skins from BO6 to Black Ops 7, following complaints that all of those colorful characters would ruin the new game’s aesthetic from day one.
Back in September, Treyarch’s Senior Director of Production, Yale Miller, also revealed they had canceled some crossovers with big brands as a result of the negative feedback.
However, it appears that this Fallout crossover is still going ahead and arriving in Black Ops 7 shortly after launch. Of course, this is all just based on leaks for now, and nothing has been officially confirmed, so take it with a pinch of salt until we hear it from Treyarch.
