Black Ops 7 has introduced a new attachment that lets you dual-wield a pair of LMGs, resulting in an unbelievable time-to-kill and insane range.

The Season 2 update shook up the meta in Black Ops 7 in a number of ways. Not only did it introduce new favorites like the EGRT-17 Assault Rifle and REV-46 SMG, but it also came with some balancing changes to the existing lineup of guns.

But just a week on from when the second season started, a new attachment has arrived that looks set to take over multiplayer going forward — the XM325 Titan Wield.

Akimbo XM325s have better TTK than Black Ops 7’s best guns

After unlocking this Stock attachment through the Week 2 challenges, you can run akimbo XM325s. Although the LMG has never exactly been a meta pick by itself, with players often preferring more accurate ARs, bringing a second one along is a game-changer.

According to ‘Warzone Meta,’ it has a TTK of just 120ms all the way up to 42 meters. To demonstrate how strong this is, even meta SMGs don’t come close, as the fastest-killing gun in the category is the RK-9, which has a TTK of just 169ms up to 11 meters.

If you want something to match it in terms of sheer stopping power, you’ll have to opt for a Shotgun or Sniper Rifle, but neither has the same versatility.

The biggest drawback to this setup is that running akimbo XM325s removes your ability aim down the sights. Instead, you’re forced to rely on hipfire, which offers plenty of damage but takes away a lot of the accuracy over range.

That being said, by equipping the MFS Motion Strike Laser or another Laser that buffs hipfire accuracy, you can still land shots easily in the close to mid range.

The other big downside is that, although you have 1,000 rounds in total, you can only fire 100 in one burst before the XM325 overheats and you have to take a break. Again, though, if you get into the habit of conserving ammo and managing the cooldown meter, it’s extremely effective.
