BookTok favorite Jennifer L. Armentrout is teaming up with Hellmann’s for a one-of-a-kind release that blends romantasy with condiments.

The New York Times bestselling author is launching the Craven-Proof Edition of her new novel, The Primal of Blood and Bone. Inspired by Hellmann’s Garlic Aioli, this limited edition is printed with garlic-infused ink designed to “ward off” the series’ vampiric monsters known as the Craven.

“Every story I write is about connection—between characters, between readers, and the worlds they step into,” Armentrout said. “Partnering with Hellmann’s gave us a fun way to explore that magic with a sensory experience, creating something that feels just as immersive and unforgettable as a great book.”

Garlic ink, free aioli, and book club recipes

The Craven-Proof Edition is available through the Hellman’s website. Fans who buy in-store at Armentrout’s shop, Miss Willa’s Bookshop in Charles Town, West Virginia, will also receive a complimentary bottle of Hellmann’s Garlic Aioli while supplies last.

Hellmann’s is extending the crossover to the kitchen with three themed recipes for book clubs: The Casteel-erole, Poppy’s Platter, and Garlic Sliders of the Ascended. Each dish is inspired by The Primal of Blood and Bone and can be found online at the campaign site.

“Most wouldn’t expect a condiment brand to tap into BookTok culture, but at Hellmann’s, we thrive on surprise,” said Jessica Grigoriou, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Condiments, Unilever North America. “We saw a chance to bring our bold Garlic Aioli flavor to Jennifer’s passionate fanbase, fusing flavor with storytelling.”
