Time to kill (TTK) is one of the most important stats to consider when choosing your Warzone loadout, as having a faster-killing weapon gives you a major advantage in face-to-face fights.
While Season 2’s new weapons, the ERGT-17 and REV-46, are deadly choices that have already shaken up the meta, a familiar favorite is unmatched at range after getting a buff in the update.
Now, the AK-27 deals more damage over long distances, which has made it the best choice if you’re looking to kill enemies as fast as possible.
Warzone’s AK-27 is the fastest-killing gun after Season 2 buff
The CODMunity tool shows that the AK is extremely competitive at close range, but it truly shines beyond 40 meters. It’s only beaten by the M8A1 and MK.78 beyond 45 meters, and then becomes the fastest-killing weapon beyond 56 meters.
This means it absolutely dominates in those medium to long-range fights, which is exactly what you want from an Assault Rifle loadout.
This weapon has been highlighted by both JGOD and WhosImmortal, two Warzone YouTubers known for their meta analysis, with the former calling it “kind of ridiculous.”
Of course, the AK-27 isn’t the easiest weapon to use, as it’ll bounce around at long range. But if you use attachments that prioritize recoil control and bullet velocity, you’ll be able to delete enemies quickly and dominate face-to-face fights.
