A new Resident Evil Requiem bundle is taking the phrase survival of the fittest to a whole new level, bundling a pull-up bar with the game.

Every legendary zombie slayer worth their weight in gold knows you need to stay in peak physical condition to fight off the hordes of shambling corpses. After all, Leon and co. didn’t make it this far by sitting back and relaxing in the safehouse, and this collab doesn’t want players to laze about either.

Enter The Horrifying Nightmare Set, a frightfully unique collab that includes a PS5 or Switch 2 copy of Resident Evil Requiem and an at-home pull-up bar. Yes, you read that correctly – a pull-up bar.

While most special game bundles come with a steelbook, deluxe DLC cosmetics, or a questionable-looking figure, Capcom has decided to get Resident Evil fans slaying zombies and maxing out their IRL muscles.

Wii Fit, eat your heart out

The bundle retails at 19,800 yen, around $130, and aims to get fans fit between their nightmarish zombie-slaying sessions.

A promotional image shows new protagonist Grace Ashcroft using the pull-up bar, presumably getting in a few reps to blow off some much-needed steam before she delves further into the zombie-infested Wrenwood Hotel.

There’s even a sales-style commercial where two hosts have been superimposed directly into scenes from Resident Evil Requiem. The clip shows the two gleefully taking in the sights of the hotel, while another shows a man about to jump scare Grace, who is seen cowering behind a wall.

According to Automaton, all 50 sets of the The Horrifying Nightmare bundle sold out in less than five hours. After all, who says you can’t get fit playing video games?

Resident Evil Requiem releases on February 27, 2026, for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
