Caseoh reveals how parents convinced him to quit day job and stream on Twitch full-time

Popular streamer Caseoh is warming hearts across the net after revealing that his mom was the very first ‘fan’ of his Twitch streams and encouraged him to keep broadcasting.

Caseoh is one of the most popular streamers on the net, known for his hilarious playthroughs of various horror games and humorous interactions with his viewers on Twitch.

He first started making content in 2022 on both TikTok and Twitch. In the three years since then, he’s become a household name in the streaming space, even winning Content Creator of the Year at the 2024 Game Awards.

However, Caseoh says none of this would have happened if it weren’t for his parents’ support, as revealed during an October 26 interview with VTuber Layna.

Caseoh credits his parents for Twitch success

During their discussion, Caseoh credited his father for helping him quit his day job and go full-time with streaming, something that clearly ended up paying off in the long-term.

“My dad was like, ‘Nah, it’s only gonna be one chance you get right here.’ We called the boss, and it was done,” he said. “Glad, too, ’cause it worked out.”

Layna then asked him about his mom, who Caseoh said was his first ‘fan’ and would watch him play games even before he started streaming.

“She’s just always been there for me my whole life,” he answered. “Even before this, always there, every step. When I started, she told me I should go and give it another chance.

“Even before I was streaming, back in the day, I’d be playing video games in my room at night when I was a kid. Every night before she went to bed, she’d come in there and chill with me for like an hour and watch me play the video game.

“Just always there, always helping. Just GOATed. She was the first Caseoh viewer, all them years ago.”

The streamer’s answer was enough to make Layna choke up, sparking a similar reaction from chatters who applauded momma Caseoh for supporting her son in his interests.

Caseoh has been open about his closeness with his parents over the years. In fact, his mother even moderates his Twitch chat and has her own Twitter/X account, where she’ll occasionally post updates about her son’s latest activities and news about their pets.
