Chick-fil-A has started testing a new vending machine that gives customers access to select menu items outside of traditional operating hours.

The chain installed its first version of the automated unit at Wellstar Medical Group Health Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia, according to information shared with PEOPLE.

The vending machine is a temperature-controlled fridge with a touchscreen interface and is located close to an on-site Chick-fil-A.

It currently features a small selection of packaged items, including a Southwest Veggie Wrap with Creamy Salsa and the Cool Wrap with Avocado Lime Ranch. Two flavors of Waffle Potato Chips are also available.

It’s also closed on Sunday

The machine operates 24 hours a day, but it will still follow the chain’s long-standing practice of closing on Sundays. Chick-fil-A said the device includes technology that tracks product freshness and signals when items need to be restocked to prevent expired food from being offered.

The vending machine is a limited-time test. Chick-fil-A has not announced whether additional units will roll out to other locations.

Chick-Fil-A isn’t the first chicken restaurant to explore other ways of selling food, either. On October 18, KFC launched a vending machine in Australia to sell its Sweet Tokyo Hot & Crispy Chicken, but didn’t tell anyone where it was located.

Those who could find it, however, were rewarded with a free meal.
