Frida has introduced a new candy product called Boogie Bites. The sweet and sour gummies launched in October and come in three booger-like shapes and colors, according to the brand.
The candy was created to promote NoseFrida, the company’s nasal aspirator used to help relieve congestion in babies and young children. Frida said the gummies are designed to resemble “the real thing.”
Boogie Bites isn’t the first to launch a booger-flavored candy, however, as Jelly Belly’s Beanboozled jelly beans have featured the flavor since 2007.
Boogie candy isn’t made from real boogers
Boogie Bites will be sold exclusively on GoPuff for $3.99. Availability includes New York City, Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago, Miami, Dallas, Boston, and Philadelphia, according to Frida.
They shared the news in an Instagram post on October 27.
“If anyone knows nose nuggs, it’s Frida,” they said. “In honor of cold + flu season, we’re giving you a whole new [less gross] way to eat your boogers. Introducing Boogie Bites, the treat kids have picked for generations.”

The brand confirmed the product does not contain real boogers. Ingredients include tapioca syrup, cane sugar, pectin, natural flavors, and fruit and vegetable juice for color.
