Destiny 2‘s PvP endgame rewards have been absolutely stacked with S-tier weapons since The Edge of Fate‘s launch. So much so that one of its best, Auric Disabler, has been overlooked, despite being an excellent Auto Rifle worth chasing god rolls for.
Trials of Osiris has seen the introduction of Aureus Neutralizer as well as reissued versions of Aisha’s Embrace and Burden of Guilt. All have immediately found a place in the ever-changing meta, and it speaks to their collective power that Auric Disabler has been overshadowed, despite being just as good in the current sandbox.
If you’re a fan of the legendary Ammit AR2, then Auric Disabler was made for you. Here are the rolls you’ll want to be on the lookout for when the weapon is in Trials’ rotation.
Auric Disabler PvE & PvP god roll – Meta analysis
For PvP, where Auric Disabler performs best, you’re going to want the expected setup. That means Corkscrew Rifling and Ricochet Rounds for the Barrel and Magazine, respectively, for their big boosts to range and stability.
Via slightly different means, Zen Moment and Dynamic Sway Reduction both increase accuracy, and we’ve included both here, as the choice between them largely comes down to personal preference.
For the second perk slot, Target Lock provides the best all-purpose DPS boost, but Sword Logic and Kill Clip shouldn’t be written off entirely. For the remaining perks and Masterwork, range is what you’ll want to prioritize.
In PvE, you actually have numerous options depending on what you want to use Auric Disabler for. Dragonfly and Sword Logic make for a great all-purpose add-clear weapon. However, there are better options out there if you’re looking for a neutral game primary, so we’ve gone with Hatchling and Tear, which play to Disabler’s strengths as a Strand Auto Rifle.
For all remaining perks, prioritize bumping the gun’s reload speed up as much as possible to eliminate downtime.
