A woman in her 60s has died at a local hospital following a ride on Disneyland's Haunted Mansion attraction.
As reported by Entertainment Weekly, Matt Sutter of the Anaheim Police Department shared that "Anaheim Fire & Rescue responded to the Disneyland Resort for an unresponsive woman in her 60s who had just finished riding the Haunted Mansion attraction," and that "Disneyland security personnel provided CPR until paramedics arrived."
Following the event, the woman was "transported to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced dead."
There is no cause of death as of this writing, and Sutter mentioned that the Orange County Sheriff-Coroner "will determine the cause of death" at a later time.
IGN reached out to Disneyland and the team confirmed a guest did require medical treatment on October 6 and was transported to a local hospital.
Disneyland's Haunted Mansion is located at New Orleans Square and is suitable for guests of all ages. According to the official website, "The ride itself is gentle, but young children may be frightened by the special effects."
