Dispatch devs are now weighing in on the possibility of Season 2, something they admittedly weren’t sure about just a few weeks ago.
Dispatch blends strategy sim gameplay with a rich narrative, telling the story of a retired superhero who now has to manage a team of heroes and ex-villains.
It hasn’t even been a month since the game’s launch, and it’s already gaining fans all around the world. Selling over 1 million copies in its first 10 days, having an Overwhelmingly Positive rating on Steam, and being one of the highest-rated games of 2025 show there’s demand.
And for fans who want more, the studio has just spoken about the possibility of Season 2.

As spotted by Eurogamer, the topic was brought up during The Friends Per Second podcast. During the interview, Adhoc Studio’s co-founders, Nick Herman and Pierre Shorette, were asked about their next project.
Shorette said: “[I think] that we’re going to have to at least think about Season 2 now.” To the team, this was “a question mark” three weeks ago.
Based on Shorette’s comments, however, Dispatch’s recent success seems to have shifted the team’s thinking.
“That was a question mark three weeks ago. So, it’s a very cool problem to have,” he explained.
Currently, Dispatch is still ongoing, with the finale dropping on November 12, 2025. But even so, many are already hoping for the title’s continuation. Some noted the characters have grown on them, and that they’re “not ready to say goodbye.”
And it’s not just fans. Aaron Paul, who voices the main character, is also hoping there’ll be multiple seasons.
“I hope that you and I get to do multiple seasons of this game. I hope we get to do more,” he told MoistCr1tikal, who voices Sonar in the game.
