Dr Pepper is joining forces with Dippin’ Dots to launch a new soda-inspired frozen treat. The collaboration was unveiled at the 2025 NACS Show, where attendees got an early look and taste of the upcoming frozen treat.
The partnership brings together two distinct brands known for unique flavors and textures. Dr Pepper, first introduced in 1885, is one of America’s most recognizable soft drinks, while Dippin’ Dots has been serving its flash-frozen ice cream beads since 1988.
Dr Pepper ice cream set to launch in early 2026
According to food news account Snackolator, which shared photos from the event on Instagram, the Dr Pepper Dippin’ Dots are expected to hit stores in early 2026. Snackolator described the flavor as closely matching the classic Dr Pepper taste, comparing it to the Whataburger Dr Pepper Shake but in ice cream form.
“We are getting Dr Pepper Dippin’ Dots and these are the best Dippin’ Dots I’ve ever had!” he said in the post.
The new flavor follows other collaborations revealed at NACS, including Pabst Blue Ribbon’s partnership with Grillo’s Pickles for a pickle-flavored beer. Both products highlight a growing trend of nostalgic and unexpected flavor crossovers among major food and beverage brands.
