Escape from Tarkov has just confirmed it’s teaming up with its own parody, Escape from Duckov.
Even if you’re not into extraction shooters, you’ve likely heard of Escape from Duckov at least once. In October 2025, its player count soared to over 300,000 concurrents, surpassing even new release Battlefield 6 despite being an indie game that came out of nowhere.
What began as an adorable duck parody of Escape from Tarkov quickly turned into a full-on spotlight moment of its own. And while you might expect some tension between the two projects, the devs appear to feel the opposite.
In a surprising turn of events, both games have just announced they’ll be crossing over with each other soon.
Escape from Tarkov announces crossover with Duckov
Duckov’s trailer confirmed that the collab will be dropping in the game on February 10, 2026. The reveal also showcased a new Escape from Tarkov–themed map, along with ducks inspired by familiar Tarkov figures such as the Scav brothers, Tagilla, and Killa.
Alongside the crossover, the update will also be bringing a new mount system, “festival content,” and that players will be able to face off against familiar faces from Tarkov.
This isn’t a one-way crossover, either. Tarkov itself will also be getting some Duckov content. Though not much information about it is known for now.
So far, the developers have teased it with an image of a duck in Tarkov’s realistic setting, accompanied by the caption: “Wanna have a party?”
A lot of players have been left wondering if this will be some kind of cosmetic, a figure, some type of loot, or if there’ll actually be “cartoon ducks” running around in-game. Either way, it’ll be interesting to see what gets revealed next.
