Season 5 of Black Ops 6 and Warzone brings plenty of new weapons looking to take over the meta, from a returning Assault Rifle to a powerful Pistol.
Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 5 is set to be yet another huge update for both games. Verdansk is getting an overhaul with the Stadium roof finally opening, while Zombies is getting its final new map in The Reckoning.
But the biggest addition is always the new guns, and this patch doesn’t disappoint with four weapons joining the roster. So, here’s a look at each new weapon in Season 5 and how to unlock them.
PML 5.56
- How to unlock: Battle Pass Page 3
The M249 SAW, last seen in MW3 (2023), returns in Season 5 as the PML 5.56. This LMG features an incredibly fast fire rate that makes it devastating at close to mid-range, with the tradeoff being low mobility and a lengthy reload animation.
It will be available at launch through the Battle Pass, with the gun itself available on Page 3 and the Overclock Blueprint on Page 11.

Another classic gun that dominated Warzone in the past is back in Season 5, as the AUG makes a return. This bullpup Assault Rifle was a force to be reckoned with back in the BOCW days, thanks to its ridiculously fast three-round burst fire rate and non-existent recoil.
It’s a burst weapon once again in BO6, but there’s also a Fire Mod that makes it fully automatic. To get your hands on this classic rifle, all you need to do is complete Page 6 of the Battle Pass.
Boxing Gloves
- How to unlock: 90s Action Heroes event
We’ve seen plenty of melee weapons released during Black Ops 6’s lifecycle, and the trend continues with the arrival of the Boxing Gloves. Ideal for close range, they take multiple punches to kill an enemy, but are much faster and have better reach than the other options in the class.
To embrace your inner Tyson Fury, you’ll need to unlock them through the 90s Action Heroes event, which arrives sometime between August 7 and the Mid-season update in September.
Gravemark .357 Revolver
- How to unlock: Hell Ride event
The final weapon coming during Season 5 is the Gravemark .357 Revolver, a new secondary weapon that packs a punch. While its single fire rate makes it tougher to use than automatic Pistols, its damage and range are pretty impressive, making it perfect for multiplayer.
It’s set to be the reward for the Hell Ride event coming later in the season. While we don’t have an official date, we know it’s sometime after the mid-season update, which is expected in early September.
