A new indie golf game is trading calm vibes of PGA Tour 2K25 for action-packed sessions, where frantic battles and sabotage are all part of securing that all-important hole-in-one.
As the name suggests, Super Battle Golf throws the rulebook straight into the sandpit. Instead of taking turns to tee up your shot, up to eight players can play at the same time, racing to the hole while actively sabotaging each other’s shots.
According to the official Steam page, Super Battle Golf is a free-for-all where swinging the club is only part of the plan. Players can smack rivals with golf balls, ram them off course using carts, or fire an orbital laser from halfway across the map to completely ruin a run.
Super Battle Golf brings mayhem to the golf course
Players control swing angle and power, plotting routes across 27 courses filled with hazards, with everything from sand pits, lakes, thick vegetation, and even mines that can instantly punish a perfect shot.
When the terrain isn’t constantly trying to ruin your run, then players wielding everything from flinlock pistols to rocket launchers will. You’ll need to constantly fight off other golfers and be prepared to get your hands dirty, especially if you wish to take the game-winning crown.
If you have ever thought golf needed fewer rules and significantly more explosives, Super Battle Golf is one to watch when it launches on February 19, 2026, on PC via Steam.
