It’s all come down to this season finale, and if the first look at FBI Season 7 Episode 22 is anything to go by, the most dangerous call yet is coming from inside the house.

There are a lot of crime procedurals on at the moment – and not just on CBS – so let’s catch you up. FBI is a pretty simple premise, following Special Agents Maggie Bell and Zidan from the New York branch working together to keep the city and country safe.

Maggie’s been in some serious peril of late, with Season 7 Episode 20 nearly killing her off altogether. But instead of going the way of 9-1-1 Season 8 (RIP, Bobby), Maggie came away unscathed.

Just as well, really, as a major terror threat is set to hit a secret FBI office in FBI Season 7 Episode 22. Here’s what you need to know about when to watch it.

FBI Season 7 Episode 22, titled ‘A New Day,’ will air on May 20, 2025, on CBS at 8pm ET.

For UK viewers, episodes have usually dropped at 12am. If you want to catch the FBI Season 7 finale at this time, you’re going to need a VPN for the job (it won’t be available to stream immediately, but more on that later).

An official runtime hasn’t been revealed yet, but we can expect Season 7 Episode 22 to clock in at around 45 minutes.

All Season 7 episodes so far have been between 40-45 minutes, and there’s no reason for anything to change during the home stretch.

If any episode of FBI Season 7 is going to be significantly longer, it will be this, though, as it’s a season finale.

What will happen in FBI Season 7 Episode 22?

As you can see in the trailer below, there’s a planned attack on an FBI office, with operatives on the inside working against their team.

As bodies pile up on the street outside, a traitor is unmasked, with claims they are actively working against their country and colleagues. For now, at least, we have no idea who that person is.

Thankfully, we already know FBI Season 8 will be on the fall 2025 schedule.

Fans have two possible ways to watch FBI Season 7 Episode 22: watch it live on CBS, or wait until it’s available to stream on Paramount+.
