Magic: The Gathering is bringing in more and more players with its packed release calendar, and in the first half of the year alone, we’ve had a race to the death, a swarm of dragons, the return of some classic vampires, and the biggest crossover yet with Final Fantasy.
While the second half of the year includes the launch of Edge of Eternities, Marvel’s Spider-Man, and Avatar: The Last Airbender, we’ve rounded up the most valuable cards of the year so far from Innistrad to Final Fantasy. Which ones do you have?
A Word on Final Fantasy Before We Start
Look, we'll be honest - when we planned this list, we didn't expect almost every entry to be from the Final Fantasy set. We didn't want to not include them, so there's a handy roundup just above as well.
Full transparency, most of the Borderless Surge Foils Final Fantasy cards top the most expensive Magic card lists right now, and it would simply be a bit dull to only discuss those again.
We'll cover the ludicrously expensive Travelling Chocobo variants shortly, but for now, we'll keep other Final Fantasy chase cards to their own list and honorably mentioned here.
With that covered, here are the most valuable 2025 cards from Innistrad Remastered, Aetherdrift, Tarkir Dragonstorm, and the latest expansion, Edge of Eternities.
