Pokemon is getting a large outdoor theme park in Japan, and fans can already take a peek at what it’ll look like.

Pokemon fans are in for a real treat. With the franchise nearing its 30th anniversary, a Pokemon theme park is opening in Japan, and it’ll let visitors see their favorite Pokemon up close while exploring a world inspired by forests and towns straight out of the games.

PokePark Kanto was first teased back a few years back, and while we already got a look at the area’s layout and some early details, we’re finally getting a better idea of what it will actually look like.

Several new images have been shared via PokePark KANTO’s official X account ahead of the attraction’s February 5, 2026 opening at Yomiuriland Amusement Park.

The pictures that were shared showcased the “Vee Vee Voyage” ride. This is essentially a merry-go-round that features some of the fan favorites, with Eevee being the main highlight.

Other Eeveelutions can be seen in the ride as well, including Vaporeon, Flareon, and Jolteon. And fitting with the Kanto theme, Rapidash and Ponyta are included as steeds as well, outside of the Eeveelutions.

The “Vee Vee Voyage” ride can be found in the Sedge Town area of the park. For the uninitiated, the park will have two separate sections.

Pokemon Forest is a lush woodland that spans over 1,600 feet in length. Here, fans can traverse through various terrains while observing various Pokemon from Kanto and other regions, as long as they pass a ‘fitness check.’

Meanwhile, Sedge Town is basically a location that’s similar to towns in the game, where trainers can stumble upon gift shops, special stage shows, and rides.

As for pricing, adults aged 13 and up will need to pay 1,200 yen to ride “Vee Vee Voyage,” while children aged 3 to 12 can ride for 800 yen. Kids under five will need to be accompanied by a paying guardian.

Due to high demand, tickets for the park are being distributed through a lottery system.
