Instead of more superheroes, this time it’s all about a military force going up against a full-blown bug invasion. With major crossovers like Halo Spartans, futuristic new weapons, and corrupted map changes, the new season delivers a fresh theme and gameplay direction.

Epic’s teaser schedule and in-game countdowns suggest a global rollout between August 7 and 8 depending on region and downtime length.
Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4 Battle Pass skins
The Battle Pass includes a mix of original and crossover skins:
- Female Spartan IVs from Halo appear in full armor, alongside sci-fi rifles and purple alien terrain
- An OXR agent panda skin with bamboo melee weapon and flight jacket
- Tommy Oliver from Power Rangers, with both Black and White Ranger styles, plus a rumored Megazord unlock
- Red-armored OXR agents and military operators also feature in key art and teasers
Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4 new weapons

- A new triple quad-barrel minigun with 12 barrels and orange OXR detailing, built for heavy suppression
- The Swarmstrike Launcher, seen in teasers, fires cluster-style explosives ideal for taking out bug nests

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4 map changes
Brutal Boxcars appears to be replaced by a fortified OXR outpost, built near an active insect hive.
This location features purple goop, hive structures, and tactical barricades. Other teaser shots show hive corruption spreading across nearby zones and terrain reshaping in response to the invasion.

The first teaser for Chapter 6 Season 4 was posted on August 2. It shows two spartans from Halo dealing with a tentacly threat.
“Kiss your momma goodbye and get your boots on”
The second teaser showed off another skin from the Battle Pass, as well as a weapon and a potential POI that Chapter 6 Season 4 will bring to the island.
“Bugs b gone. Join OXR”
The third teaser involved a new skin, a faction named OXR, and, potentially, a new minigun weapon.
