Fortnite dataminers have revealed more details about Chapter 7, including the release date, collabs, and mechanics to the game.
One of the things that makes Fortnite so unique is how distinct every chapter and season feels. We’ve seen seasons dedicated to a plethora of different themes, even the ones that are crossover-based.
As The Simpsons season draws to an end soon, you may be wondering what the game will offer next. Though it’ll still be quite a while, Chapter 7 is already shaping up to be a big one.
Here’s everything you need to know about it based on the most recent leaks.
Fortnite’s Chapter 7 is set to release on November 29, 2025.
This date has been confirmed via the Battle Pass as well as the live event teaser in-game. As for the exact time it goes live, that’s currently unknown. But with the ‘Zero Hour’ live event starting at 2 PM ET, we can expect the next Chapter to go live a few hours after that.
There’s usually a period of maintenance as devs prepare the next major update. This could take anywhere from 3-5 hours, but it also doesn’t rule out the possibility of being longer if there are some hiccups along the way.
Fortnite Chapter 7 theme
Chapter 7 was first rumored to have a Gala theme, with fans guessing based on some of the recent survey skins.
But it looks like that might just be part of the bigger picture. According to new leaks and a recent teaser, the next chapter could actually lean toward a Hollywood-style season instead.
Either way, the setting seems to bring it all together, with the map reportedly taking place in a Nevada-inspired desert.
Map
If the leaks are anything to go by, Chapter 7 sounds like it’s going to remind us of the Wrecked season in a way. Epic hasn’t shared any official details yet, but a few well-known leakers claim we’ll be dropping into a desert biome this time around.
Dataminers also spotted POIs based on Area 51 and a casino, and one of the teaser coordinates even points to a Hollywood sign, which lines up perfectly with the rumors about a movie-themed season.
On top of that, there’s talk of a new weapon called the Gambler Shotgun. No clue how it’ll work just yet, but it definitely sounds fitting, given the Casino POI.
Leaked collabs and skins
Some of the crossovers that have leaked so far include Harry Potter, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Kill Bill. Fans are especially convinced that the last one has already been teased by Epic, spotted on a sign in-game.
For those who missed it, this sign appears in OG mode and hints at a new storyline. It mentions things like “Zero Hour,” “Chapter Seven,” and “Fortnite After Dark with Q&U.”
Many believe the “Q&U” stand for Quentin Tarantino and Uma Thurman, tying directly into the Kill Bill theory.
Well-known leaker SamLeakss also mentioned these collabs could also be coming:
- South Park
- Tyler the Creator
- Ninjago
- Back to the Future DeLorean
- F1
New mechanics
Like with any new Chapter or Season, we’re definitely getting some gameplay changes, and a few of the leaks already sound pretty wild.
Apparently, dataminers found that in Chapter 7, you’ll actually be able to revive yourself using the Reboot Van. Normally, your teammate has to grab your card and bring it over, but this time it’s said to work more like Apex Legends or Warzone, using a special token instead.
And there are even talks that we’ll be able to drive the Reboot Van. If that’s true, that’ll be a huge change since those things usually just stay in one spot the whole match.
Either way, we can expect a bunch of new stuff when the new Chapter drops, including new weapons, new skins, maybe even more surprises we haven’t seen coming yet. We’ll be sure to update this section once more information is available.
