Ninja just made Fortnite history as the first streamer with his own mythic weapon set, and Epic didn’t hold back.

Tyler “Ninja” Blevins played a major role in Fortnite’s rise to global success. His streams introduced the game to millions. Epic even gave him his own Icon skin, but he didn’t love the timing.

It dropped when Fortnite wasn’t exactly at its peak, and Ninja made it clear he felt that. Despite his ups and downs with the game, Ninja remained a defining figure in the Fortnite community.

In July 2025, Epic has gone a step further. On July 27, Fortnite granted Ninja a new black-and-gold version of his Icon skin and, more importantly, not one but five mythic weapons.

All Ninja weapons in Fortnite

Here’s a breakdown of every Ninja weapon coming to Fortnite:

  • The Blitz Boss Ninja’s Trash Launcher
  • The Blitz Boss Ninja’s Get Good Shotgun
  • The Blitz Boss Ninja’s Blue Goo Gun
  • The Blitz Boss Ninja’s More Movement Bomb
  • The Blitz Boss Ninja’s Viper Assault Rifle

The update, which drops on August 2, follows a rocky period for Ninja’s relationship with the game.

After years of playing Fortnite at the highest level, he took a step back due to burnout, gameplay frustration, and repeated stream sniping. He shifted to Marvel Rivals, where he quickly became a leading voice, but the same issues followed.

He publicly quit the game in June 2025, citing a toxic community and concerns over his mental health. Shortly after, he began campaigning to be named Blitz Lord in Fortnite’s upcoming event.

And now he gets what no other streamer ever has received: not one, but five mythic weapons. Each mythic weapon has its own distinct effect. The Trash Launcher fires Junk Rifts. The Get Good Shotgun deals bonus damage on its last shell and can reach max output.

The Blue Goo Gun slows players caught in its explosion. The More Movement Bomb is captioned with his stream catchphrase and causes area damage. The Viper Assault Rifle poisons enemies over time.

With these new guns, Epic has elevated Ninja beyond cosmetics. For the first time, a streamer has been given full mythic-level power in Fortnite.
