Fortnite may soon be heading to Westeros after leakers revealed a Game of Thrones collaboration could be on the way.
The popular battle royale is no stranger to a good collaboration, introducing celebrities like Sabrina Carpenter, anime collabs like Solo Levelling, and even a crossover with Overwatch. Well, now it’s potentially heading over to Game of Thrones.
According to reliable leakers Shiina, HYPEX, and Adira, a Game of Thrones collaboration is currently in development for Epic Games’ battle royale, marking the first-ever Game of Thrones crossover in Fortnite (which we predicted back in 2019), despite years of major partnerships and the success of the original GoT series.
Game of Thrones could be coming to Fortnite
Of course, despite the leakers teasing the news across multiple accounts, this is purely a leak and is still subject to change. However, the timing does feel pretty significant.
After all, interest in the series has surged following the release and success of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and its (mostly) lovable characters. Since Fortnite has aligned collaborations with major entertainment releases before, making a Game of Thrones crossover feels like a pretty natural fit.
No skins or features have been confirmed yet, but fans are already sharing their wishlists with many asking for Egg, also known as Aegon Targaryen, to appear as a Sidekick. Daenerys Targaryen is another highly requested addition, alongside dragon gliders and, of course, a skin for the legendary fan favorite, Jon Snow.
At the moment, Epic Games has yet to officially announce the crossover or its contents, but with multiple trusted leakers claiming it is in development, it may only be a matter of time before Fortnite enters Westeros and all the chaos that comes with it.
