Italian Brainrot memes are reportedly getting official Fortnite skins, and yes, that sentence is real.
You’d be mistaken to think this is Fortnite’s first flirtation with internet absurdity. In December 2024, Epic dropped the Skibidi Toilet collab and handed players a Cameraman with a literal security camera for a head, plus a reactive toilet back bling that bobbed along mid-match.
Chapter 6 Season 2 introduced Big Dill, a towering pickle in a leather jacket and sunglasses who looked designed to haunt your peripheral vision. Then February 2026 arrived with “Stupid Sexy Flanders,” a skin-tight Ned Flanders sprinting across the map with a Rocket Launcher.
Italian Brainrot skins reportedly coming to Fortnite
On February 24, leaker Shiina posted: “TUNG TUNG TUNG SAHUR FORTNITE SKIN COMING SOON.” HYPEX followed up, writing that two other people he knew had heard the same thing and that he believed it was happening soon.
If accurate, Epic is about to turn one of the loudest corners of meme culture into a locker cosmetic. The AI-generated Italian Brainrot mascots that dominated timelines could soon emote in high definition on the Island.
The reaction on X split clean down the middle, sometimes in back-to-back replies. One user wrote, “So we are all uninstalling now right…”
Another replied, “The lobby isn’t ready for the Italian Brainrot takeover. Bombardino Crocodilo next or we riot.”
A different thread captured the same whiplash: “So many potentially great characters still yet to come to the game but the AI slop mascot is near the top of their priorities?” Immediately countered by, “I speak for everyone when I say WE ALL will be buying.”
