Leaks have revealed an Overwatch crossover coming to Fortnite, including some of the most popular characters from Blizzard’s hero shooter.

At this point, it feels like there are more celebrities and franchises with Fortnite crossovers than there are without. In Chapter 7 alone, we’ve seen everything from South Park and The Office to KPop Demon Hunters and Chappell Roan skins introduced.

Epic has also been collaborating with other video games, and leaks are claiming that Overwatch is coming to the game for the first time.

Here’s everything we know about the Overwatch crossover in Fortnite, from when it’s expected to arrive to which characters to expect.

When is Fortnite x Overwatch crossover?

The Overwatch collab will arrive sometime in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2, according to a leak from ‘Blortzen.’ Although we don’t have a confirmed date for it just yet, the new season is scheduled to begin on Thursday, March 19, 2026.

However, it’s worth noting that the skins could arrive on this date, or as a release later on in the season.

Skins and what to expect

Two characters are all but confirmed to appear in the crossover: Tracer and D.Va. These were both leaked by trusted dataminers Blortzen and Shiina.

Tracer was to be expected, given that the DPS hero has been the face of Overwatch since it launched in 2016. Her abilities revolve around fast movement and even time-jumping, so don’t be surprised to see Back Blings and Pickaxes that play with this theme.

D.Va is a little more surprising, given that she pilots a large mech that seems far too bulky to be a Fortnite skin. It remains to be seen exactly how her skin works, but it could be that we play as D.Va herself, and that her mech only features as a Glider or Emote.

There is also some speculation that an Overwatch character will appear in the Season 2 Battle Pass as well. This is a common tactic we’ve seen in the past, where one or two characters from a specific franchise are available through the Battle Pass, while the rest are released on the store.

It hasn’t been confirmed exactly who this could be, but there are plenty of options to choose from, with the likes of Genji, Mercy, and Kiriko all being fan favorites.
